Children are an important part of the church family at New Beginnings Grace Brethren Church. We believe that if the church is to be successful in the future we must be successful with the children of today. They are not the church of tomorrow, they are the church of today. It is with these thoughts in mind that we offer the following programs to meet the spiritual needs of all the children who come through our doors. If you have further questions about any of our children's programs, any of the pastoral staff or the staff of each program would be more than happy to answer them. Nursery
We offer two nurseries to meet the needs of the smallest children among us.
•Infant Nursery - Room N-1 for new born babies to those starting to walk.
•Toddler Nursery - Room N-2 for infants walking to those 24 months of age.
Our nursery facilities are available on Sundays and Wednesdays during all regular services of the church. For more information on our nursery including policies and procedures please request a copy of out "Welcome to Our Nursery" handbook from any of the nursery staff.
We currently using curriculum produced by Discipleland in our Sunday School and Jr. Church programs. The curriculum is designed to give children an overview of the entire Bible. During these programs children will be discipled in their relationship with Christ and learn how to worship God.
Sunday School 8:30 AM on sundays
We offer a full range of Sunday School classes for children from ages 2 up to sixth grade.
•2 Year Olds - Room N-3
•3 Year Olds - Room C-4
•4 & 5 Year Olds - Room C-3
•1st & 2nd Grade - Room D-2
•3rd & 4th Grade - Room D-4
•5th & 6th Grade - Room D-6
Jr. Church 9:30 AM on Sundays
We offer two Jr. Church programs for children that run simultaneously with the morning worship service.
•Children ages 2 and 3 located in room N-3.
•Children ages 4 to 1st grade located in room B-1/B-2/B-3.
Vacation Bible School
During the summer months we offer a one week Vacation Bible School. The dates and times are announced in the spring of the year.
AWANA
7 PM on Wednesdays
We offer the AWANA program for children from age 3 to sixth grade. During this program children will earn how to share their faith with others. It runs from September through May.
•Cubbies - For children whose 3rd birthdays falls before September in the calendar year in which they turn 3 to age 5. They meet in room C-4
•Sparks - For children in kindergarten to 2nd grade. They meet in room B-1/B-2/B-3.
•Truth in Training - For children in grades 3-6. They begin their meeting in the gym and then move to the D-wing where they conclude their meeting.
7PM on Wednesdays during the summer months.
During the months of June, July, and August we offer a Bible study and game time for children that runs simultaneously with the adult prayer meeting.
•Ages 3 to 2nd grade - They meet in room B-1/B-2/B-3.
•Girls in 3rd to 6th grade - They meet in room D-4
•Boys in 3rd to 6th grade - They meet in room D-3/D-5.
